For me the experience of a traditional wedding dress shop was totally overwhelming; there were so many rules and additional costs to make any changes. I had an idea of what I wanted but couldn't find it anywhere. Within 5 minutes of my initial call with Ella May she completely got it, and from the first drawing I knew I was in good hands! I knew I wanted something totally unique that would work from day - night and most importantly I would feel like me!
The whole process of designing the dress together was fantastic, every little detail was thought about and changed to exactly how I wanted. We looked through hundreds of lace options to find something modern that went with my granny's veil- nothing was too much trouble! I absolutely loved coming to the studio for the fittings. My mum was initially a bit nervous about doing a bespoke design, but after our first meeting she described Ella May as 'a giant step up from everything else we had seen/ been'.
Having started the dress choosing process being daunted and totally overwhelmed everything changed after meeting Ella May and working together was such a dream I would recommend her to anyone!
