Ella May was so helpful and wonderfully patient throughout the whole process of designing my wedding dress. I came to her with a vision inspired by Victorian and Edwardian wedding dresses, as well as a few Spanish bridal designers who use a lot of georgette silk, but I wasn't entirely sure how to bring everything together.
Ella May took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for and translated all of my inspiration into a dress that was completely unique.
One of my favourite details was the embroidered sun and stars, which was Ella May's suggestion. It was such a subtle but meaningful touch, and it tied in perfectly with our summer solstice wedding. Fergus also had a large embroidered star and two smaller stars on his jacket instead of a traditional buttonhole flower, which was a lovely way to connect our outfits.
Another thing I loved was being able to remove the georgette silk jacket after dinner. It gave the dress an entirely different feel and meant I had a second look for the evening without needing to change.
Ella May and Georgie were a joy to work with from start to finish. They made the whole experience feel personal, collaborative, and genuinely exciting, and I couldn't recommend them more highly.
