"Designing my wedding dress with Ella May was a dream come true. So much to say, that we ended up making two dresses so that I could change into something a little more disco-fun for the party! I had a very clear vision of what I wanted my dress to look like, but couldn't find it anywhere. Ella May made it come to life, with even more magic! From choosing the fabrics in the same shop my mother chose her wedding dress fabric 30 years ago, to having fittings in my own home - the process was fun, intimate, and very memorable. On the day, I felt and looked like me. The Olivia design encompassed who I am as a person with my style and character evident in the tiny details and the overall look. By working with Ella May, she made the impossible possible. I had ruffled straps to button into the dress when I removed the more conservative high neck and long sleeve tulle top that I wore for church, and immediately the dress went from day to dinner glam. Ella May was gracious, professional and so kind during the entire process, and I loved working with her on the most important outfit I'll ever wear!"
